Death Over Diamonds Album Art

Daniel Ruff, also known as ScurtDae, is a Hip-Hop / Alternative Rap artist from San Diego, CA. The original request for the artwork was a “realism” portrait of the artist with a solid background but as we developed the message and metaphor of the album as a whole the concept evolved into what it is today. The goal for the project was to create a compelling art piece inspired by the album that can also be sold as posters, limited edition vinyl records, apparel, and other merch items.
